Student Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

We worked closely with our new CMS design team and the Ingham County Road Commission to design the parent drop off and pick up loop. It is imperative that everyone follow the process as designed.

  • Our staff use the left side of the lane to park in the staff lot. Do not enter the staff parking lot to drop your student off or to pick them up.

  • For the safety of your child and others, do not drop off or pick up your child up on Kinawa Drive.

In order to keep Kinawa Drive moving, please adhere to the following:

  • When turning into the student drop off entrance, take turns allowing both the east and west drivers to enter.

  • Students should be prepared to quickly exit their cars on the curb side.

  • If the cars are moving in front of you, please do not stop to drop your child until you reach the sign stating "parent drop off begins here".

  • The bus entrance and exit loop is to only be used for OPS and CATA buses.

  • Walkers and bikers must use marked crosswalks and be observant of cars.

  • Lastly, please continue to look out for our walkers and bikers along Kinawa Drive.
